The American West Heritage Center is located in Cache Valley about 10 minutes south of Logan, UT and about 1 hour and 10-minute drive north of downtown Salt Lake City.
AWHC Fall Attractions: Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch Utah, Haunted Hollow, and More
Throughout the year, AWHC’s normal exhibits include their Native American Exhibit and Mountain Man Camp, where you can visit the Traders Cabin, throw tomahawks, write with ink and quill, and learn how mountain men lived in the wilderness. They also have their Pioneers Settlement, where you can learn how to play pioneer games and tour hand-made structures; the Jensen Historical Farm, and the Woodwright Shop, where you can participate in hands-on workshops with their friendly staff and learn how to work wood the old-fashioned way. You can also pan for gold and gems and learn how to milk a cow!

Corn Maze on the Farm
From September 23 through October 29, 2022, AWHC invites all to enjoy Corn Maze on the Farm. This annual event features a 7-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, giant lawn games, a straw fort, 9 Square, pony rides, a bucket train, and Spooky Train rides! This is all in addition to their regular exhibits.

Haunted Hollow
From October 1-29, 2022, you’ll probably be in the mood for a scare. If so, the Haunted Hollow at American West Heritage Center will deliver. This family-friendly haunt attraction entails a walk through a spooky alley. And according to reviewers, they make it scary without getting grotesque or too dark; it is spooky enough and you’ll probably jump a lot, but it’s not unbearable if you’re not fond of the scary stuff!

Fall Harvest Festival
On Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15, 2022, American West Heritage Center is holding their annual Fall Harvest Festival. Bring in the harvest the old-fashioned way by trying your hand at cider pressing, corn shelling, and candle making. There are also live demonstrations such as steam engine threshing! You can also hitch a hayride/wagon ride, and children weighing less than 100 pounds can enjoy a pony ride. This is all in addition to the Corn Maze on the Farm activities as well as their regular exhibits.
